Booking Info and Aftercare

I announce book openings on my social media accounts and through my newsletter. (Don’t forget to sign up! Click on the page menu) Currently I am booked out further than I had planned and unfortunately have to close my books until September. I am hoping that by this fall I can take on more hours at the shop and get back to taking on more projects than I am currently able.

I am not able to take on all projects so if it is not something I specialize in I refer out to artists I know personally and whose work I admire.

I do not tattoo hands, necks or faces. This is more of a skill set limitation than personal taste.
I do not take on lettering or script projects.

I do not take on many coverups. The more complex the less likely I am to take them on. I do have referrals for those.

To request work please go to my Get In Touch with me section.

Booking Fee:

I require a 150 dollar booking fee for a single session and a 300 dollar booking fee for multiple session work. The booking fee secures your spot in my appointment book and is deducted from the overall cost of the tattoo.

NO APPOINTMENT WILL BE SET WITHOUT RECEIVING ONE.

BOOKING FEES ARE NON-REFUNDABLE.

Should something come up in which I must move the appointment, I allow my clients to move the date once, after that another booking fee will be owed.

Hours:
My current hours are Monday to Friday 10am to 2pm. Weekend and evenings are not available at this time.

The shop address is 20724 Ecrose Rd, Taylor MI 48180

Our shop number is 313-388-8791.

Aftercare:

For aftercare I use a transparent film called Tegaderm. Tegaderm creates a wet environment for your tattoo to heal in. The film will be muddy, collect blood plasma and some ink. This is normal. The wrap stays on for five days after which you will remove it carefully, wash all the dried plasma and ink off with antibacterial soap and use unscented lotion to moisturize. Washing and moisturizing will go on for a week after the wrap is removed.

If the wrap leaks contact me immediately. A wrap that leaks leaves your vulnerable tattoo open to the air which can breed bacteria.

I do give instructions and extra Tegaderm for clients to rewrap their tattoos from time to time. If you need to rewrap if yourself you will take the old wrap off, wash the tattoo with antibacterial soap, pat dry, allow to air dry for about ten minutes and rewrap the tattoo. Once new Tegaderm is applied you can start the five days over again.

Once the wrap comes off the tattoo will continue to heal. Many tattoos peel like a sunburn and some do not peel at all. Please remember the is a healing wound. Avoid the sun, do not go swimming in ANY body of water and keep it clean.
